Dominican Republic enacts law regulating gambling and appoints Quico Tabar to head new DGJA

The Dominican Republic has enacted a new law regulating gambling, with President Luis Abinader appointing Teófilo “Quico” Tabar Manzur to lead the newly formed General Directorate of Gambling (DGJA). This follows the publication of Law 86-26 and the issuance of Decree 684-26.
